Chip Board Manufacturing High Pressure Pumps from Hydracell

A large manufacturer of engineered wood was using highpressure gear pumps on its production lines to deliver abrasive, resinous glue to spray onto the wood fibers
of particle board. The gear pumps had to be replaced frequently, causing disruption at an early stage in the manufacturing process.

The company installed a Hydra-Cell model D35/G35 sealless pump, and after six months of trouble-free operation, installed another D35/G35.

Further encouraged by its performance, a Hydra-Cell D10/G10 was subsequently installed on another system to pump Ammonia Nitrate.
After more than a year, all three pumps were running without any problems – oil changes being the only maintenance required.

This has significantly decreasedoperating costs and production downtime.
